Our service team recently completed the honing of five main engine liners onboard a vessel anchored in Singapore, utilizing the Chrismarine HON X2 portable honing machine. The operation was carried out over a span of three days and involved precise in-situ machining to restore liner geometry and surface finish to optimal condition.

The honing process successfully achieved the required cross-hatch pattern and surface roughness, ensuring improved lubrication retention, reduced wear, and extended engine service life.
